Project Scope

Project includes a replacement of existing I-5 Interstate bridge that provides a critical connection between Oregon and Washington and is a vital trade route for regional, national and international economies.
ODOT and WSDOT are jointly leading these efforts in coordination with eight other bi-state partner agencies: TriMet, C-TRAN, Oregon Metro, the Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Council, the cities of Portland and Vancouver, and the Ports of Portland and Vancouver.

Roles & Responsibility

- Identify Utility Relocation Plan
- Submit cost estimates and risk analysis
- Oversight and tracking of project deliverables – including Utility Conflict Matrix and Conflict Maps
- Communicating with utility providers to identify potential conflict mitigation
- Manage Utility Conflict Notification letters
- Coordinate and attend meetings with Design Team and/or Utility Providers
-Follow up on resolution of outstanding Open Items
